We have greatly improved the possibility of accidents caused by illumination differences by intelligently controlling illumination of inside and outside of the tunnels when cars enter or pass those tunnels, and significantly reduced consumption of electric power by effectively controlling illumination inside the tunnels. This system designed to properly control lighting appliances inside and outside the tunnels in response to illumination has communication functions enabling remote monitoring and controlling and can work in connection with surrounding lightning facilities. For proper maintenance of this system, the system can automatically make output round the clock in case troubles take place to the lighting controller. In addition, the LCS was doubly composed to enable temporary operation using a separate backup unit.
